Prep Newsletter, Term 4 2020, Half Term

School opened for the third term after a much-needed break for all our staff and pupils.

The taking of sport photographs was a totally different experience this year, without the usual hustle and bustle of children changing in the bathrooms and dealing with lost or forgotten sports kit and equipment. It will be interesting to see the final result. Parents will be informed when the gallery is ready for viewing and ordering on line.

On Monday 12 October, we had a wonderful Heritage Day open-air assembly on Hackland Field. The drab field was awash with bright colours and energetic dances, put on by the various grades. It was so good to look around and see all the beautiful outfits and the many ways in which our pupils celebrated being “proudly South African”. The assembly ended off on a high note, with the whole school spontaneously joining in with the Jerusalema Dance. Well done to Ms Ntombifuthi Mngoma, Mrs Sandra Henning and their helpers and the pupils for all their hard work in putting this celebration together.
